An urban gardening project in the inner city, that brings the local community together, provides them with fresh vegetables, has its own beekeeping unit and hosts lots of exciting events and workshops.
A former open air movie drive - which is now home to a creative community that lives and works on the site, fueling their homes and workshops using solar powered energy, compost and rainwater collection.
An ambitious water conservation site near Potsdamer Platz. Initiated by residents in 1987, this ingenious project is designed to reuse and save substantial amounts of water in their green oasis apartment blocks.
An enchanting reclaimed nature park, set in the ruins of a former railway depot. Trek through a giant green space which is home to 350 plant types, giant mushrooms and 2/3rds of Germany´s bird species, foxes, insects and fauna.
A buzzing market hall to finish, where local producers and Berliners come together to sample food, drinks and chat about the state of this awesome green city.
