Events Editor & Head of GreenMe Detroit
Klara is the secret force who updates our Events Calendar with fresh new events every week and is currently busy establishing GreenMe in Detroit, Michigan - the place where she lives and studies.
Her passion for enabling people to pursue an environmentally conscious lifestyle in a fun and convenient way is what motivated her to join the GreenMe team. Apart from that, Klara's travels throughout European and US natural and urban landscapes catalysed her interest in waste reduction while her undergrad research in biofuels "fueled" her interest in alternative energy.
Home: Tricky one 🙂 My home is Pecs, Hungary since that's where most of my family is & where I go during breaks. But I grew up in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and am now living and studying in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Biggest passion: Waste reduction, distribution of resources, and the circular economy
One of your favorite projects in Berlin: Within the Berlin green scene, I'm most excited about Original Unverpackt and their zero waste initiatives. Stay tuned for my favorite one in Detroit 🙂
